LEARNING THROUGH EXPRESSION!

Academy of Art workshops are designed to introduce and use the visual arts as an enrichment program in a group setting. Offer a unique program by using the visual arts as a tool to entice staff to creative learning. We intend for anyone to create ---no artistic ability required.
ART FOR COMPANIES Academy of Art workshops teach the elements and principles of design along with teaching various art terms, techniques and skills while using professional art media. Our workshops also introduce art history and art appreciation.

Art Exploration
Description: Learn to use a variety of art media and re-create visual images. Incorporate elements of design in the drawing and creating process. We create 5 projects based upon different cultures and famous artists.
Goal/Benefit: Have fun creating unique art projects while exploring differnt media.

Watercolor
Description: Learn new techniques to create fun abstract and realistic subject matter. If you never used watercolors before or you are a watercolor hobbyist this class is for you. Create fresh new paintings and be inspired by other artists.
Goal/Benefit: Give an opportunity to you to learn to watercolor and relax.

Community Masterpiece
Description: This workshop looks at famous artists works from chosen time periods to re-create works of art to display in your facility. Learn to focus on technique and/or subject matter to re-create an inspired theme of all involved. Utilize different media to create a unique masterpiece.
Goal/Benefit: Learn to communicate with other staff to create a masterpiece for display. Learn about famous artists, art eras and cultures while using a variety of media.

How program works?
We come to your office or facility
We come during day or evening hours
We provide ALL the supplies
Classes are approximately one-hour in length over a 4-week period.
The class sign-ups are based upon a volunteer participation (paid by individuals who sign up)
Or the company pays tution for art program (team-building) and art is usually displayed in the facility
